Noted British Holocaust denier David Irving has arrived in Poland to lead a tour of famed hot-spots from the Nazi occupation.

Although Irving did not divulge details of his trip “for security reasons”, he has confirmed that his tour will visit the former Wolf’s Lair site where an attempt was made on Hitler’s life in 1944 by “German army traitors”.
Polish Group Otwarta Rzeczpospolita (Open Republic) is attempting to sue Irving for Holocaust denial over claims in his 1977 book “Hitler’s War” which claimed that Hitler was unaware of the “Holocaust” until 1943 and never gave orders for the so-called “genocides”.
Anti-anti-semitism groups in Poland and Britain have tried to urge their respective governments to stop Irving taking his Tour to Treblinka – the former “Nazi camp” where over 800,000 people were “murdered”.
Mr Irving has previously been described as a “racist, an anti-Semite and an active Holocaust denier” by a British judge in 2000 after losing a libel case he had pursued against American author Deborah Lipstadt, and was found guilty of denying the Holocaust by Austrian courts in 2006.
